Fall on the lake

Eller-1 Eller-1 So, I'm not gonna lie - I don't like doing photo sessions anywhere near Lake Norman... I've had some tough lighting issues over the years & to me, the actual lake just doesn't photograph as well as it looks - this is all MY opinion! LOL

So I was a bit apprehensive when when my long time client suggested the lake again... only to my surprise, I ended up really loving everything about it. I decided to embrace the whole lake fully, it was a mind change & I think I have overcome my old view of lake photo sessions ;)

Fall Sessions 2018 - first blog post in 6 years!!!

Smith-1 Smith-1 Wow! So I just imported this little Photography blog I had & obviously didn't keep it up, first post was around 2010 & last one was 2012! lol I had a second blog connected via my old website which is now gone as well!! Soooo sad! So I suppose I'll start up now & see what I can share... I had a busy fall, as I start to get my feet wet again & figure out how to manage my workload...

We were so lucky on this shoot - the day was dark & cold (not that you can tell because everyone was such a good sport!)... and, then as we were wrapping up, the most beautiful sunset emerged & we got some nice sun-drenched shots. That was a surprise, that not even the weather-forecasters predicted!

This park is down the street from us... It's gorgeous, even in the almost dead of winter...
